Power Specifications

 

 

The unit will operate on 220V, 50 Hz Single Phase OR 380 - 440V - 480V AC, +/- 10 %, 50 or 60 Hz, +/- 5 Hz with an isolation transformer that will supply power to all electronic panels and will have fire proof and single-phase circuit breakers (MCB’s) for protection.

 

Each equipment will have a separate AC socket and additionally eight extra sockets are provided with 15A circuit breaker.

 

All instruments including computers and peripherals operate on 220V +/- 20 %, 50Hz or  +/- 5 Hz.

 

The instrumentation racks are powered through a CVT and UPS provided with over voltage and filter circuits to take care of supply variations in the Rig supply.

 

 

 

Two bundles of Power Cable of 100-meter length with earthing facility for carrying rig supply to the Mud logging Unit. The cables are of standard reputed make with fire and flameproof capabilities conforming to VDE 0295 Class 5 specifications.

 

All Sensors have sufficient cable of 300 feet each. The cables are copper multicore with FRPVC or EPR sheathing with a copper braided shielding.

 

All instruments are mounted on shock proof modular Instrumentation Rack.

 

All Electrical Wiring and fixtures, breakers, relays, plugs, etc confirm to industrial safety regulations and standards.

 

An Isolation Transformer will be provided as an option inside the unit for deriving 220V AC, 50 Hz or 60 Hz and 440 V AC, 50 or 60 Hz Hz with a delta input and star output.  Neutral is generated from the transformer.

 

Input to transformer will be 380V –440 – 480 V, +/- 10 % with tapping provided.
